Kandu Installations takes great pride in providing “the best installation and service throughout Wisconsin.” They specialize in voice/data networks, fiber optic, intrusion/fire alarm design and installation, annual fire alarm system test/inspections, home automation, analog and IP surveillance, access control, intercom systems, audio/visual and nurse call/wellness systems.
Founded in 2015 by owner Michael Williams, Kandu Installations brings to each project a dedication to safety and quality with integrity and reliability. Utilizing the latest industry equipment and technologies, Michael credits the company’s success to Kandu’s client satisfaction, sharing that “the majority of our new customers are referrals made by existing customers. This is the greatest compliment any business owner can receive.”
Making Customer Satisfaction a Top Priority
Michael says, “Kandu Installations was founded on the all familiar principle of ‘the customer comes first.’ But for us, it’s not just a simple tag line, it’s our truth. Kandu custom tailors systems for each client, ensuring that they get exactly what they envision and that it does exactly what they expect it to do. We don’t sell cookie-cutter packages based off of kit pricing we receive from our vendors. Kandu Installations custom designs every system, taking into consideration all of the customer’s expressed areas of concern. We provide them with solutions to address all of their needs and do so within, or under, their budgetary goals.”
With that mission in mind, Kandu Installations offers customers a five-year warranty on all of their work, in addition to available manufacturer warranties. Michael explains, “Our competitors offer 90-day to one-year warranties on their installations. We offer a five-year warranty on our projects because we are that confident in the quality of our workmanship. Our customers are not just a number to us. When you call our office, we’ll ask for your name, not your account number.”
With over 45 years of experience in the industry, Michael and his team have the knowledge, experience and commitment to uphold Kandu Installation’s motto of “Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed!” With a firm belief that a company’s greatest asset is its people, Michael ensures that Kandu employees are well trained in the systems they install and that they are certified in industry-related fields, such as Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) and National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET).
Providing Peace of Mind
Workplace safety is also a high priority. As the proper use of tools greatly reduces the risk of injury, Kandu Installations offers in-house training on the proper use, maintenance and storage of relevant tools and equipment. The team also offers training on safe work practices. Additionally, every Kandu Installations employee is required to be OSHA certified.
Further, Kandu Installations is a proud member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Union. Michael says that as a data/communications union shop, their customers can be confident that they are getting the best craftsmanship available, adding that “the IBEW is leading the way with educational and training opportunities it offers to its members.”
