Introducing Imperial Welding & Repair
Strong, up-and-coming welding company takes on the Colorado market with quality service, expertise and integrity
Jesus Alfaro, owner of family-owned and operated Imperial Welding & Repair, LLC, has a simple, straightforward business philosophy as a means to show his deep commitment to customers. He aims to “provide clients with outstanding, fair, ethical practices from beginning to end with the delivery of high-quality and innovative welding solutions.” With that in mind, Jesus and his team promise to deliver “a standard of service that ensures every project is fabricated to exact specifications, completed within budget and delivered on schedule.”
By integrating the utmost integrity and business ethics into all aspects of the business, Jesus is able to treat his clients, employees, suppliers and community with respect, faith and honesty as he satisfies the company’s ultimate goal—earning an excellent reputation in the welding industry.
After 10 years working as a welder—building and repairing power plants throughout Colorado and Wyoming for a number of contractors—Jesus was laid off and found himself out of a job. In 2015, he decided to risk it all and start his own company.
He says, “My passion for welding, my ambition, dedication and drive to better myself and provide a better future for my family made me start Imperial Welding & Repair. I took the last $3,000 dollars I had out of my savings account, bought a welder, put it in the back of my truck, and started doing small residential and commercial jobs. One thing led to another and before I knew it, the small residential and commercial jobs I started with turned into the midsize commercial and industrial jobs that are getting my name out there in the industry today.”
Imperial Welding & Repair proudly serves the Denver metro area and its surrounding cities, specializing in all types of welding, such as tube, pipe, plate, carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum welding, fabrication, and pipelining. Imperial Welding is able to come together and work as a team to provide its customers with 5-star quality service, as customer satisfaction is the company’s top priority.
Diverse Welding Skills
With its expert team of experienced and certified welders, Imperial Welding & Repair focuses on commercial and industrial welding, including power plants and pipelining projects in the region. And while other companies are restricted to work with one or two types of metals, Imperial Welding & Repair doesn’t limit itself. In fact, Imperial Welding & Repair’s unique ability to weld and fabricate with a wide range of materials is something of a differentiator for the growing business. Jesus explains, “By being able to weld and fabricate with a variety of metals, we are able to not only keep our customers’ projects under one roof, but we are also able to provide them with that one-stop-shop experience.”
Confidence to Meet Any Challenge
Like every other company, starting Imperial Welding & Repair was not easy. There were many setbacks and challenges. However, Jesus’ determination, self-driven personality and his passion for the welding industry propelled him to keep moving forward.
In fact, with Jesus’ years of welding experience and with his company now recognized as a minority-owned business (MBE), a small business enterprise (SBE) and a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE), he approaches every job—no matter how challenging—with confidence, even taking on city and state jobs. Whether it is industrial repairs on power plants and pipelines, fabrication or any miscellaneous welding—he can do it.
Next up, he hopes to get more involved in the steel erection side of the business. To ensure that he is ready for any steel erection challenge, Jesus is being mentored by one of the largest, well-established welding companies in the state of Colorado, as well as one of the most well-known former general contractors in the western slopes of Colorado. In addition to working with his mentors, Jesus is planning on moving to a bigger shop in 2019, which will allow him to take on bigger, more complex jobs.
As the young company grows and continues to build its reputation as the go-to welding service in the region, Jesus hopes to take on any challenge that comes his way.
