One-Stop Furniture Shopping
Tampa’s Office Furniture Center provides a personalized, full-service experience for every office furniture need

Office Furniture Center in Tampa is committed to personal service, attention to detail, and meticulous follow-through to deliver quality furniture to businesses and organizations at competitive prices.

Since 1987, Tampa’s family-owned Office Furniture Center, Inc. (OFC) has been providing Tampa businesses with the best selection and pricing on all their office furniture needs—whether for large commercial facilities or small home office setups.
Owner and President Edwin Celeiro started the company with the assistance of his father. The goal? To be the area’s one-stop shop for quality office furniture and great customer service…all at a fair price. Edwin remarks, “My father had an office furniture dealership here in Tampa for many, many years, and was simultaneously doing laminate furniture manufacturing for offices and eventually the hotel/motel industry. I worked for him at that time. When he decided to sell his business at this location, he still owned the building. When I told him I thought we should open a new office furniture business here, he asked, ‘Are you sure?’ ”
Edwin was more than sure. Having worked with his father on every aspect of the business, from purchasing and knowing the installation side to sales and marketing, Edwin was confident in his ability to bring unbeatable customer service and attention to detail on every order. Those principles have guided Office Furniture Center’s continued growth for more than three decades.
No Job Too Big or Too Small
Office Furniture Center is stocked and ready to serve its customers—from an individual looking for a more ergonomically correct chair or desk for a home office to small businesses, large government contracts, furniture for schools, large hospitals and corporations. The company does a lot of work with the health care market, assisted living/memory care and independent care facilities, school districts and large corporate offices. Edwin proudly shares, “No matter the size or furniture needs of your company, Office Furniture Center delivers! We don’t restrict ourselves as far as the type of projects.”
Some recent high-profile clients have included a school district in Hillsborough County, BioSpine Institute and the Tampa Bay Business Journal, which recently fully remodeled their corporate offices. For that one, Edwin notes, “We teamed up with another dealer. The Business Journal approached us both and said ‘Would you mind working together?’ We’ve always had a good working relationship with these folks, so it was a great experience.”
The company, which now has seven full-time employees, offers a wide array of chairs and desks as well as office wall partitions and installation, which is handled through a long-term, dedicated subcontractor partner, Office Movers of Florida. “We provide the full service,” Edwin says.
Respect and Trust
For Edwin, the key to his success has been those relationship-building opportunities with customers and the trust that is developed through treating each client with equal respect. He shares, “You treat the person that’s looking for one chair the same as the person that’s looking for a hundred or a thousand chairs. Everyone deserves the highest level of attention. Not to mention, that same person coming in looking for a chair for their house could be the CEO or the decision maker at a large company.” He actually recalls an instance where a gentleman, dressed in shorts and a T-shirt, came into their Tampa showroom to buy a single chair. A few days later, that customer called and remarked how well the salesperson treated him. This customer turned out to be the reverend of a local church who has since commissioned Office Furniture Center to completely outfit two facilities.
A Happy Customer Is the Goal
Edwin adds that as a small business, Office Furniture Center is well positioned to provide the personalized service that customers need and deserve. He says, “We’re able to respond fairly quickly to any requests. My team is empowered to make decisions in the best interest of the customer. There’s no ‘I need to check with so-and-so.’ The customer comes first and we will do what needs to be done in order to make sure that the end result is a happy customer.”
