Reliable, High-Quality Roofing
Family-owned Rodeo Roofing has built its reputation on relationships, integrity, honesty and quality
Husband and wife team Brian and Pamela Fleming have one main goal for each and every roofing job they take on: to do a great job, with great materials, for a great price. Co-owners Brian, President, and Pam, Vice President, comprise the leadership of their family-owned business, Rodeo Roofing, founded in 2012. The company has offices in Washington and Oregon and has grown from a mere three employees to 55+. It is obvious that their dedication to customer relationships and the high value they place on honesty, integrity and quality have paid off.
With a focus on commercial and industrial buildings, including big stores and large apartment complexes, Rodeo Roofing specializes in single-ply flat roofs, metal roofs and commercial shingle roof applications. Brian, with nearly 35 years’ experience in the commercial roofing industry, brings an incredible wealth of knowledge to the team. As Pam explains, “His first and last goal when he meets people is to solve their problem in a way that truly helps them. We are all about helping our customers, creating a good relationship and being people who do what we say. If we commit to something, we will do it.”
Recent projects include a high-end horse breeding facility outside of Ellensburg, where they are installing metal roofing on a variety of structures, such as barns, houses and a sales center; and a big sporting goods store in Lacey. That project will feature thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) single-ply roofing.
An Honest Approach
Brian and Pam take their service role very seriously, noting they are not just out to make a quick dollar. When called in to bid a job, Brian will always tell it like it is. Pam shares, “He might tell someone, ‘You have another five or 10 years on this roof, you don’t need a new roof; you can just repair it.’ Or someone might come to us just wanting to repair a roof, but Brian will be honest with them if, by his assessment, they’d have to repair it frequently and end up having it cost more than a new roof. In that case, he will tell them they need a reroof instead of a repair.”
There is no such thing as cutting corners at Rodeo Roofing. They use high-quality materials and their experienced team performs impeccable work. Additionally, they offer warranties from the manufacturers and they are fully licensed, giving their customers confidence in the company and what they do. And if there’s ever a case where Rodeo needs technical assistance on a specific installation, they are more than ready to seek the input of a manufacturer’s experts to make sure the job gets done right. Furthering this commitment to customer satisfaction, Rodeo Roofing stays on top of ever-changing building and energy codes, permit requirements and local ordinances to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
A Culture of Teamwork
Their people-centered company culture is evident internally as well. Teamwork is high on the list of priorities. To this point, Brian says, “The guys love working here—top to bottom. There is a very positive, can-do work environment. They’re not micromanaged and teamwork is central. You don’t feel like you’re on your own or that anyone will throw you under the bus. We even send crews with specialized expertise to help each other out when needed.” Rodeo Roofing further supports its employees by offering medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a retirement savings plan. This is unusual in this industry and the team is excited to have these benefits available.
Taking Care of Customers
Rodeo Roofing does a good deal of negotiated work from building owners or managers as well as taking on jobs from GCs. Regardless of how the work begins, their philosophy is steady: “We want to take care of you. It’s what we do. We will bend over backwards to get it right the first time—but if not, we’ll come back and fix it. It’s always about relationships and taking care of our customers,” says Pam.
