Top Service Is Smart Business
Smart Mechanical, Inc. combines quality and service to meet any commercial HVAC challenge

With a commitment to quality and service, Smart Mechanical, Inc. provides smart solutions for every HVAC need.

Coming up with smart solutions for every HVAC need is what drives Mr. Jae Park, Founder and Owner of Smart Mechanical, Inc., a minority-owned commercial construction company located in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2008, the company’s main focus is on mechanical contracting within the commercial construction sector, performing services including commercial air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and installation and repair of ventilating equipment.
Park’s interest in the mechanical industry dates back to his high school days; shortly after attending trade school in Korea, Park received his professional license at just 20 years old. Immigrating to the U.S. a few years later, he finished tech college in Atlanta, which soon led to his early career working with R.S. Andrews, where he learned the ins and outs of the industry from the ground up.
Strong Relationships Are the Heart of a Strong Business
Opening Smart Mechanical was the next logical step. He shares, “I saw the opportunity to offer a top-quality service and continue to build on the strong relationships I had cultivated throughout the years. Plus, I wanted to provide a better life for my wife and three kids.”
Providing quality materials, value and craftsmanship are major cornerstones of the business. More than anything else, though, is an unwavering commitment to being available to its client base, ensuring the highest level of customer service. Park states, “My overall business philosophy for Smart Mechanical rests squarely on establishing and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors and owners, making sure they are happy with the quality of work we bring to the project.”
Maintaining a Commercial/Industrial Focus
Smart Mechanical’s main focus is on commercial and industrial projects, such as apartments/condominiums, mixed-use buildings, manufacturing plants, supermarket refrigeration systems, and warehouse and office buildings of all kinds. Some notable projects include Kia Motors in LaGrange, Georgia; SK Battery in Commerce, Georgia; Columbus Housing Authority in Columbus, Georgia; Lawson Montgomery Homes in Eatonton, Georgia; Jusgo Supermarket in Duluth, Georgia; Assi Supermarket in Suwanee, Georgia; and private apartment projects across the southeast United States.
To ensure Smart Mechanical can provide the very best service to its customers, the company has gone through Level 1 Certification Class/Training for Daikin Air Intelligence VRV IV X, which is a state-of-the-art, leading variable refrigerant flow technology for mechanical contracting. This is the system that Smart Mechanical is currently installing on the SK Battery Plant in Commerce, Georgia, one of the largest battery plants in North America.
An Eye Toward Growth and Opportunities
Not satisfied to simply rest on his many accomplishments to date, Park is looking to the future, with growth goals of expanding Smart Mechanical’s market reach to 10 states, while taking advantage of continuing education and enhanced licensing opportunities for him and his team.
