Your Friendly, Neighborly Electricians
Family-owned Mr. Electric of Lutz—where business experience and construction experience meet

Eric and Christine Campbell, Co-Owners of Mr. Electric of Lutz.

When Eric and Christine Campbell came across a franchise opportunity with the Mr. Electric brand in 2018, they knew they had found the perfect match based on a company philosophy that focuses on integrity and customer service.
Part of the Neighborly group of companies—the world’s largest parent company of 25 home service brands and more than 4,000 franchise owners in nine countries—Mr. Electric has been lauded as one of the leading experts in electrical services, installation and repair since 1994.
A Neighborly Code of Values
The local franchise, Mr. Electric of Lutz, brings that same level of quality and service to residential and commercial customers in Lutz, Tampa and the surrounding areas. Eric explains that Neighborly’s code of values truly spoke to their own innate sensibilities. He shares, “I come from corporate America and have spent my professional career building and selling businesses for other people. After 25 years in the health care industry, I was ready to do something different, and the Neighborly code of values mirrored my own business—and personal—philosophy. We respect people. We do the right thing. It’s all about the way we treat our employees and our customers.”
Doing the right thing is at the heart of what makes Mr. Electric of Lutz more than your average electrical contracting service. Eric acknowledges that sometimes to make things right, you “have to eat crow.” He adds, “If something is amiss, we are very communicative with our customers. We always keep them in the loop as to what’s going on so that if we run into any issues, we can figure out a game plan to come up with a solution that will meet the customers’ needs.”
Professional Service on Every Job
Serving both residential and commercial customers, Mr. Electric of Lutz’s services run the gamut from the smallest home rewiring jobs and safety checks to complete electrical work, installation and repairs on 40,000-square-foot commercial projects and build outs, such as a current warehouse job that is underway.
In addition to Eric and Christine, the company, which literally began with one van, now has 10 manned vehicles at the ready to handle any project that comes their way, and a team that has combined experience of nearly 150 years. The crew presents themselves in the most professional way, showing up to the job site in Mr. Electric uniforms to show they mean business, and are always respectful of the people they’re working for, whether a homeowner, business owner, GC or another trade on-site.
Masters of Industry
At Eric’s side is his service manager, Alan Hancock, a master electrician with more than 22 years of experience and, as Eric says, “every credential you could possibly want in an electrician.” Alan and Eric are very visible on job sites, making sure that each and every project proceeds as planned, while bringing a personal, neighborly touch.
Eric adds, “I am very active in the day-to-day at the office. I don’t just sit around; that’s not the life of a business owner, at least it shouldn’t be. The whole reason we settled on this franchise has to do with the core code of values. We have respect for people, we have integrity, we have customer focus and we have fun in the process.”
